Removed from Google Search… Hey Google, what’s happening?!

Why google can sell links and I can not? Please, try this.

Sony Ericsson cross-breeds Java and Flash

In a move sure to spark protests over ‘Frankenstein code’ Sony Ericsson has done what no human being had previously thought possible - it has created a new tool that enables developers to combine aspects of Java and Flash technology in a single app.

Project Capuchin (as in the type of monkey) will be made available by SE in the second half of this year, after a showcase at Sun Microsystems’ Java One conference next week.

In short, Project Capuchin will allow ‘pure Flash Lite content to be encapsulated in Java ME applications’, with the help of Sony Ericsson Developer World tools.

SE says more advanced capabilities will make it possible to create Java ME applications where some or all UI components are defined in Flash.

Rikko Sakaguchi, SVP and head of portfolio and proposition at Sony Ericsson, said: “[We are] excited to introduce our new bridging technology to the global developer community as it further strengthens our relationship with this community and underscores our ongoing commitment to support an open, healthy and thriving mobile ecosystem.”

Gary Kovacs, general manager and VP for mobile and devices at Adobe,” added: “Using Adobe Flash technology as one part of this new bridging technology will ensure further innovation for mobile users when Flash developers gain access to the Java applications’ functionality and intelligence allowing them to create applications with the ultimate user experience.”

Jarpa Framework created by i2tecnologia and Alessandro Pace have been doing the same but without manufacture support. I hope to see how many devices will support this ‘new’ technology and how Capuchin are doing this interaction.

Flyer Framework runs on almost any OS

Flyer For Maemo
Hello readers, sorry for the long time without posting … Long short story … but… Let’s to the party!

I am very glad to share our latest news in open source development. You should know that Flyer was primarily built to extend mobile technologies… but… along the development we’ve discovered the truly power of our platform.

Flyer Framework runs on almost any OS (Symbian, Linux, Windows, Mac OS) that supports both Flash Player and Python. Not all features can be included for every platform at the moment but we are working to do that!

I uploaded a video showing the framework working on Maemo (Linux 2.6.21) on youtube. You can also get access to a short piece of FFM source code at google code page. As soon as I finish the docs I will publish the Flyer source code for Symbian S60.

We’ve just received this wonderful kit from Adobe. I loved the energy drink! Next trip I’m going to drink it!

N95 just got its Flash Lite 3/Web runtime firmware update!

I’m just updating my N95 firmware!

What’s new for v21.0.016 :

* Flash Lite 3 is included, so Flash video sites will work, including YouTube
* The Web runtime is included, meaning that standalone widgets are now possible
* Greater Bluetooth headset compatibility
* Better handling of entering lots of text into web page dialogs
* Speedier Gallery in every way
* Faster Java runtime, so Java apps start faster
* plus the usual miscellaneous bug fixes and tweaks, no doubt!
