Compiling EPL Symbian Kernel
I'm going to talk about Symbian OS at UFPE, the talk is entitled: How to build your own gadget with Symbian OS
It can seem too early to talk about it, but it's not! I've build the Symbian^3 Kernel on Windows! Now It's time to do some hacking on the platform. Hope to get a beagleboard to go forward.

Free WorldWide SMS for Nokia Internet Tablet Users!
Hi All,
It's a long time since my last post. I've been involved in many activities at i2tecnologia from Adobe Flex to Nokia Web Runtime.
In my spare time I have built a GTK/C version of my proof of concept software. It's called beCloser and has as main focus connect people. This is the first alpha release of the beCloser Marketing tool for Nokia Internet Tablets (N810), for testing purposes only, intended to:
* get more knowledge of maemo development
* engage with open source development
* get feedback from friends and experienced users
* encourage students to start from scratch
My main focus when I started coding beCloser was to connect people around the world with existing mobile technologies. By providing sponsored SMS messages I want to bring mobile communications to a new level.
The beCloser Maemo Edition brings free worldwide sms messages to Nokia Internet Tablets. It's a proof of concept software! Sorry, I can not guarantee that everything is working fine at this time.
* send free worldwide SMS
* easy debian packaging
For N800 users:
Please, please, help me to know if it is working on N800
Resultado do Concurso Sem Limites: Primeiro lugar

Developer Wishlist: Nokia Maps API
I was wondering how great is use Google Maps on web and mobile. We use it to develop web applications and small prototypes for cellphones. It would be great if Nokia decides to apply the same concept to Nokia Maps.
I'm not trying to bother Nokia but in my stupid opinion, Nokia holds the best navigation guide (Nokia Maps), the leading global provider of digital map data, a high skilled team why not extend their presence on mobile to web.
Nowadays there are a lot of runtimes on Nokia devices but I can't see any intent to provide public APIs to software developers. Why rework on the wheel if it's already made.
It would be very great to have an API to use digital vector data provided by Navteq and also public APIs from Nokia Maps to build a map module on web and mobile applications. I know that there are a lot of security and business issues behind it but it would be very great.
Turn your web, mobile . Turn your mobile, web. Just my two cents
