What is Java?
Sure, It is a common question from non-tech users. While talking with a bus conductor he asked me "I have Java on my phone but please, explain what is Java".
It's important to note the widespread acceptance of the Java technology on mobile devices and also know the benefits to have Java embedded on your phone. Every technology has benefits and faults. At this point of view there isn't difference with Java technology.
Like many others Java can be used to produce and run games and softwares on cellphones and computers.

If you’re a mobile developer, you may have noticed that more devices these days are supporting Adobe Flash Lite. According to the latest figures, approximately 300 million devices in the market support some form of the Flash Lite specification. Of course that’s nothing compared to the 1.2 billion (yes, that’s with a “b”) Java ME devices that are currently available, but I thought that it would be worthwhile to see the strengths and weaknesses of each platform side by side.
