Jarpa: Java Packaging for Flash Lite Developers

Jarpa

Recently, a new generation of mobile phones with support for Java ME and Flash Lite has been taking widespread acceptance by the market opening the door for hybrid applications. Looking for this business potential Jarpa was created allowing Flash Lite Developers deliver their content as Java ME applications.

Created by me (Felipe Andrade) and my friend Alessandro Pace, Jarpa is a free of charge software solution under terms of Apache Software License.

  2. Hi. I tried it on my 6630 (s60 2nded) and installed the test swf with no problem. Tried it on 7390 (s40 3rd edition) and seemed to work but I don´t really know the location to search for the swf. so I can´t really tell. Which is the s40 default flash directory?
Anyway, Great work as usual. Cheers

  3. Hi!
Lovely idea! But I have to know how to program in Java first. I need to package for S60 3rd Ed phones. Could you and Allesandro come up with a tutorial that doesnt assume prior knowledge of Java like some one else did?
Your help will be GREATLY appreciated.
Awaiting your response with bated breath…:D
