Why Leaders Should be Coaches

I've been thinking about the importance of coaching as the core part of the whole business development process and here are my thoughts about that. IBM and other major companies have made coaching a core part of personal development.

Under the right circumstances, one-on-one interaction with a set of goals, can provide a focus that other forms of organizational support simply cannot. When possible to be used, the internal coaching process can be thought as an evolution cycle of knowledge.

Be aware that talented people is not so easy to find and the internal coaching process can bring an evolution of knowledge among all parts of your organizations, here are some coaching benefits:

- learn, grow and confidentiality cycle among your employees;
- develop high potentials or facilitate transition;
- avoid the thought of walking at a snail's pace;

Do not give up! There will always be conflicts and unpleasant situations when groups of people work and live together but if you have focus and direction, you will know what to do.
